Subject: could not get the gui to lanch

grass obtained from: Mirror of Trento site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
Got Grass to install and lunch but when I try to lunch the gui, i get the following error message
appears
WARNING: The wish command (wish) was not fount!
Pleasee check your GRASS_WISH enviroment variable
