Platform: WindowsNT/2000/XP
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: 5.0.2

g.mapsets -help prints:
...
Parameters:
     mapset Names(s) of existing mapset(s)
  addmapset Name(s) of existing mapset(s) to add to search list

This should read:
...
Parameters:
     mapset Name(s) of existing mapset(s)
  addmapset Name(s) of existing mapset(s) to add to search list

Note that the first Names(s) --> Name(s)
