[GRASS5] [bug #2916] (grass) errors in DEFAULT_WIND in a location made from epsg code

this bug's URL: http://intevation.de/rt/webrt?serial_num=2916
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: errors in DEFAULT_WIND in a location made from epsg code

Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: Mirror of Trento site
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: grass-6.0.cvs_src_snapshot__2005_01_15

In the menu invoked by 'grass60 -gui' I set up a new location from an epsg code '2174'. After entering it any g.region command gave:

ERROR: default region is invalid
line 13: <cols3: -1073745292>

Today I used this functionality as one of the examples for a bunch of ArcView addicts of how easy it is to work in Grass6. We were rather impressed but not with g.region's output ;).

The problematic DEFAULT_WIND looks as follows:

north: 1
south: 0
east: 1
west: 0
cols: 1
rows: 1
e-w resol: 1
n-s resol: 1
top: 4.14363e-310
bottom: -1.99674
cols3: -1073745292
rows3: 24641422
depths: 1073826200
e-w resol3: 2.16093445
n-s resol3: 0
t-b resol: 0

Ah, I see. g.proj is missing an update for the WIND3 integrated.
Fixed in CVS.
