Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: cvs 23.08.05

r.to.vect fails to assign a colortable to the output raster which would cover the whole data range. Usually only some or none cells are visible on the raster produced by r.to.vect. This is very missleading, at first I thought there was something wrong with my data, but it showed that running r.colors fixed the problem.

r.to.vect creates a vector as output, not a raster.
