[GRASS5] [bug #4100] (grass) UI errors in GIS Manager

this bug's URL: http://intevation.de/rt/webrt?serial_num=4100

Subject: UI errors in GIS Manager

Platform: Mac OSX
grass obtained from: Trento Italy site
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: 6.1.cvs

Using the GRASS GIS Manager interface, I noticed that when you add many layers, the list of layers
bleeds down into the box below the list (see screen capture http://flickr.com/photos/
84201647@N00/100454127/ ). This occurs consistently. Also, the interface in general has poor
responsiveness. I often have to click on buttons 2 or 3 times before the function is activated.

This is a bit ugly, but causes no problem functionally. It doesn't happen in
the new GIS Manager (gis.m)

Also, the interface in

general has poor
responsiveness. I often have to click on buttons 2 or 3 times before the
function is activated.

This seems to be more common if you use the Mac OSX version of TclTk than if
you use the X11 version. Try the latter.
