I just noticed as did Lorenzo Moretti that d.out.png now produces an error rather than an image. I am guessing that it is a bug in the PNG driver, but I’m not sure. Has anyone else run into this yet.
We are using the December 12 and later cvs version of GRASS 5.7 on Mac OSX.

What's the error?
I am guessing that it is a bug in the PNG driver, but

Not me.

I ran it on my laptop and everything seemed to go well, but I got no image
output. I just ran it on my desktop and it worked fine. This is with a build
from last week.
Lorenzo reported it on a build from the cvs yesterday, but I haven't tried
that yet. He said it output an error.
Markus just reported that it was a very short term bug that has now been
fixed.
I've asked Lorenzo to see about making a new binary and will report again
when I get one. Given that you've had no problem, it is beginning to sound
like a transient problem that may already be solved.
