[GRASS5] bugreport r.drain (?)

Hi all,

while using r.drain to trace a flow through a DEM
from a given start coordinate, I found that no
output is produced (empty file with NULLs).

Does anyone have the same experience? Some month
ago I *could* get results...

Little confused,

Markus

Hi all,

I have fixed it for FP maps  CELL is o.k. as well.

Cheers

Hi all,

r.drain seems to accept all types of raster maps now.
(updated in CVS).

Still a problem is that the drain path becomes an area
sometimes.

I would expect: I regularly get:
(something like this)
| |
| |##|###
\ \##\####
  \ \##\#
   \---\ \\\\
        \ \\
         \ \

The "thinning" doesn't take place...
I have a small screenshot here (21kb):

http://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/users/neteler/drain_bug.jpg

The DEM is 12.5m resolution in DCELL (double FP).

Any help or comment is highly appreciated!

Markus
