[GRASS5] Compile Grass 5 on Win 32

Hi all.

I'm new to this list and to Grass and I'm having trouble building Grass.

I've installed Cygwin32 from the "all.exe" package, updated the compiler to
2.95.2 and gotten g77 from Mumit Khan's archive, updated Bash to 2.04.

I got the latest CVS sources and followed the instructions for Win 32
(libraries, environment variables).

Here are the errors I get:

Dear developers,

the full set of HTML man pages is in CVS now in
grass/html/

You can get them with
cvs update -d grass/html

In case you write/update the man page of
a module, please store it there.

The GRASS web server will check out the CVS HTML
pages regularly and put them into their well
known online directory.

If you write new pages, please use the current
coding/layout style you find in existing modules.
The local README.1st tells you a bit more.

I suggest to write in HTML, then convert to MAN
using g.html2man.

Mike, (Cc to grass list)

Read the INSTALL file. You must do the configure first.

The mkfifo command under Cygwin is not operational yet.
It is scheduled to be done this summer. Everything else
builds.
