[GRASS5] Compile Grass 5 on Win 32

Hi Markus.

Thats unfortunate, as the 1.1.1 distribution GPF's all the time! Maybe

I'd

better stick to binary distributions.

For the non-U.S. citizens: What's GPF?

General Protection Fault - writing to memory it shouldn't - I can't remember
the exact error messages. I'm Australian BTW.

The XDR problem turned out to be Gmakefiles which did not use the XDRLIB
macro.

Please tell me, which modules still require XDRLIB to be added.
Then I will fix asap.

Here's some. Sounds like John may have got them already:

/usr/local/grass-5.0b/driver/HTMLMAP
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/contrib/cmd/v.build.polylines
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/contrib/cmd/v.in.atlas
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/main/cmd/v.llabel
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/contrib/cmd/v.out.atlas
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/main/cmd/v.out.idrisi
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/etc/bin/main/cmd/r.direct

Thanks for the help - I look forward to getting a working version of Grass
up and running.

Mike,

Do the 'cvs update -A' and you will get the files
updated. Remember to redo the configure again
though, as it will replace many of your files with
the ones in the cvs. The big one is src/CMD/head/head

The first time it happened to me, I couldn't figure out
what had happened. Then I realized that there
are default files in the system. I am still working,
did more yesterday afternoon after posting the
000606 build.
