[GRASS5] creating a new DEFAULT_WIND by copying the current WIND

Hi all,

I'm working on a chapter on the "region" for the GRASS tutorial and I have
a question concerning altering the default region. What arguments (other
than not wanting to have users play around in the GRASS database) are
there against creating a current region that is larger than the default
region and then replacing the DEFFAULT_WIND with the WIND file (or a named
region file) containing the parameters of that larger region ? Would any
of the existing maps suffer from this ?

There isn't any reason why the default region shouldn't be changed.

It's arguable that g.region should have an option to update the
default region instead of the current one, although I don't know what
would be involved in implementing this.
