hi Dear ,
i am using grass5. But i havnt seen any option to draw lines in perfect dimenssions i.e if i have to draw a line for 10 mts how i can be sure of that line drawn by me is exactly 10 mts long(during digitization only v.digit). Please help me in this.

hi,
please have a look at v.in.ascii and r.in.poly. Both modules
allow to generate lines and areas from given coordinates.
