[GRASS5] NVIZ Development

I just got the changes made by Bob Covill from Markus for testing. Here some additional questions.

Compiling and installing went well.

First of all i tried to build a script with d.nviz:
d.nviz input=rpatch1 output=test name=NVIZ profile=south,north dist=2
ht=500 frames=10

The output is attached as "test".
Loading this file in NVIZ brings the output attached in "testoutput".

After that i tried to create a flight "by hand" from north to south and
had no luck. What are steps for that in the keyframe animation panel.
How do i alter the positions for certain keyframes?

Thanks for helping!

Harald

PS. Bob, i tried to send these questions directly to you (bcovill@tekmap.ns.ca) but got the mail back. Tried it with two different mail-adresses from different providers.

Hi Bob,

I tried this too. But similar faults occur again. Just to be sure: I have to produce the script with d.nviz. Then in NVIZ i go in the "Scripting"-Menu, load the script and say play?

Yes. I got this.

It did not work without any attachments too. I'm curious about that. Just this mail came back and it does not have any attachments.

>I hope this helps. Let me know any other questions you might have.

Can I only test a "normal" flight from north to south by a script or can this be done with NVIZ-gui too?

Thanks
