I have compiled GRASS 6.0.1 on x86_64 architecture and trying to run
NVIZ but I am getting segfault. Did anybody succeed to run NVIZ on
x86_64 architecture (Athlon64 or Opteron processor)?

Could you please try a recent 6.1-cvs snapshot version and let us know
how it goes? Many fixes for 64bit and gcc 4.0 have only been done in the
development version.

Oh yeah, and try compiling against Tcl/Tk 8.3 development headers, not 8.4.
(at runtime you should be able to use 8.4)
