This might be a bit off topic, but I have trouble connecting to the Intevation cvs server in anonymous read-only access. Whenever I try a cvs update, I get
cvs [update aborted]: recv() from server intevation.de: Connection reset by peer
I do not have this problem with the 'grassbook' cvs repository on the itc server.
Could someone tell me what might be the problem ?

you should use your read write access now, I would assume. 
No idea what could be the problem, probably the wrong port
of a firewall in between.
