Got hold of a very interesting German thetis work by Regina Heller,
which is completly done with GRASS4.3.
I have a CD full of nice maps she did and plan to mail this
work to the emerging GRASS library the GAV is planing to start.
Hort Rapp supported Regina and hacked ps.map to make nice outputs available.
From his readme he added new commands: barscale, defpat, setpat and sitetable
and made where understand percentiles and more little bits.
He made his work available as Free Software of course.

I did not checking and have no idea on how ready you can make the
code work.
