Hello Markus,
I'd like to propose rewrite of cvs commit information
messages to include unified diff to allow view context
of code change. I am LDP (The Linux Documentation
Project) CVS Master and I have put this into practice
with very good feedback from other CVS users.

Also the apache project is sending diffs along the commit
messages.

All I need is to python installed on server side
and rw access to repository. I promise not to touch
anything other.

cheers,
Sergiusz

What about the other subscribers of "grass-commit" mailing list?
Should we extend the mail? For me the offer of Sergiusz sounds
interesting.

Markus

CVS commits email with changes can be huge.
I am not a reader of the cvs commit list,
so I do not know if this is wanted.
(For Sergiusz: But I'm the CVS admin.)

If you decide it is needed, send me a good description
on how to set this up. I most likely cannot get Segiusz access
to the server, as we also run company internal stuff on the same
machine.

For me it is very usable, but if anyone do not like
it, please tell something here...

I do not need shell access to machine, only access to cvs
repo.
