It's not inconvenient, I just like to clean things up when I see
something like this. Keeping it is fine with me and I'll put in the
marker string you suggested.

Markus, should we start marking files like this with the (/*
***DEPRECATED*** */) marker David suggested?

Yes, please go ahead. When building the new 5.1devel, we can take out this
stuff.
