[GRASS5] Re: [GRASSLIST:6365] Re: Startup Error GRASS60

I have (hopefully) fixed the problem by adding the missing
file to lib/init and updating the path in gis_set.tcl.

Fixed in 6.0.1-release branch and 6.1-CVS.
So it will appear in both next releases.

Quick solution for you:
For fixing locally, you can grab the file here:
http://freegis.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/grass6/lib/init/help.tcl?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/x-tcl

then copy it to
/usr/local/grass6/docs/nviz/help.tcl
as the error message indicates (you will need to create
mkdir -p /usr/local/grass6/docs/nviz
as it won't be existing yet on your machine.

Probably you don't want to miss NVIZ, compiling/installing
it will also cure the problem.
#########

In the CVS versions NVIZ should be again optional. Please
let me know if not.

Best regards
Markus

Thanks for indicating the problem.

We'll modify it to make it independent from NVIZ (as advertized).
This problem slipped through...

So as soon as possible they won't be a requirement any more.
