Many of the grass data manipulation functions
are available for windows. The monitor (or
display) is not yet available. I have not tried
the Tcl/Tk interface yet though.
You will have to install either the older Cygwin
B20.1 distribution or the newer version 1.1.2
in order to get the "unix" commands and DLLs
required to run grass under Windows.
The ZIP distribution looks for executables under the
/usr/local/grass-5.0b area. Forward slashes only make
sense when using Cygwin.
