[GRASS5] Reg. Importing IRS Data into GRASS

I am interested to import IRS-1B ( Indian Remote Sensing Sattelite-1B) data into GRASS 6.0. The data is in BIL format.

Pl. suggest the way out.

try r.in.gdal and if this doesn't work, r.in.bin.
