[GRASS5] regression testing?

Is there a regression testing suite for Grass that can be run following
compilation to verify minimum functionality?

Hi James,

such test I wanted to propose last week and already start
to write a small initial script. Such a test system is
urgently required. Please go ahead if you know a concept
how to write such a test system. It is highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Markus, et al.:

Take a look at the regression code used for PostgreSQL. Perhaps it will be
a source of ideas at a minimum.

Hi,

there are already some testing programs in the source code (e. g.
src/libes/gis/TESTS, src/libes/datetime/tests). Not a real regression
testing suite, but may be good as a starting point.

Obviously some data has to be included to do testing. Or some sort of
artificial test data should be created.

What about dejaGNU? Could this be used for providing a test framework?

cu,

Andreas
