It is looking as if the other mailing list right now is not working, and
maybe this is a question for this list as well...I have been searching
for the s.vol.rst libraries in the file I downloaded the other
day...there are only man pages for those...am I missing something very
simple... I downloaded the May 31 binaries for Linux...I have even
downloaded the source code, and untarred them to no avail...is there
someway I can attain those separately??

Hi,
the s.vol.rst has been added to CVS at 20 June 2001. So it is
not present in "pre1" but in the next release.
So I suggest you get a current CVS snapshot (rebuilt today) wither from
Italy or Hannover site or tomorrow from other mirrors and compile
locally.
