[GRASS5] v.in.ogr on GRASS 5.3??

Hi all,

is there a way to make v.in.ogr to work on GRASS 5.3??
If not, how can I import from postgres to GRASS? Do I have to do
postgres->shape->grass??

No, that's not possible.

In 5.3: yes, I think so
In 5.7: v.in.ogr
