[GRASS5] v.out.mif - v.out.mapinfo

Hi,

does anyone have ideas about:
v.out.mif - v.out.mapinfo

v.out.mif help
Description:
Exports GRASS vector map to MapInfo vector file

v.out.mapinfo
       (This command must be run interactively)

The latter looks quite old. Shall we keep it?

I would say - keep them for now. I once looked at these, and really neither

produces staisfactory output. I am going to work on v.out.mif over the next couple of weeks. If necessary I will write a new version based on v.out.shape, and also take over Radim's recent changes for dbmi. Time scale for this and the import modules: about 3 weeks tops from now , so I would suggest there's not much point in any immediate action.
