hopefully everybody realises that Markus needs more help in getting
GRASS more and more organised.
Thus I gave a couple of minutes to improve the webpages
(will be online in a day).

Can somebody write a script to automaticall build binaries from
a tarball release?

Bernhard, all,
the automatic build scripts are nearly done. But i have currently other
important work to do first.
I have to do some more tests and to sort out some path/filename issues
first. I don't want to put another burden on Markus. It has to work on
linux, cygwin, solaris, freebsd and irix.
