Hi Markus,
thanks for the nice diagram. I am aware of the structure.
But how do i update my source directory, which i checked out with the
pre1 tag?
Do i have to use cvs update -r releasebranch_11_april_2001_5_0_0 and
then cvs up -dP ?
This is how it is described on the grasscvs.html page.
Sorry for my ignorance,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
please note that we have
tags
--+----+------------> exp (main) (currently unused)
\
\
\ +tag: release_grass500pre1_20_may_2001
+--------|--------------+-------> releasebranch_11_april_2001_5_0_0
|
today
You see that you may not mix tags on release_branch and the branch itself.
Does this clear the situation?
Regards
Markus

Hi Andreas,
sorry for my bad explanations... I guess a
cvs up -dPA should help
to remove the sticky tag.
I would welcome hints to improve the grasscvs.html page (preferably text
pieces to insert)!
Regards
Markus
