[GRASSLIST:10399] Grass 6.1 cvs and ETM+ imagery

Has anyone successfully imported ETM+ imagery to Grass61 on WindowsXP with cygwin.

I've tried r.in.gdal and i.in.erdas neither work. I'm a new convert to GRASS so I might just not know the proper command syntax.

I appreaciate the help, in advance.

where did you get the ETM+ imagery from and in which format?
(r.in.gdal should do it)
