[GRASSLIST:1109] png driver, grass 5.0.2, Cygwin/Win XP

Hi,
is it possible to use the png driver in WinGrass? Actually, it does not
work on my computer. What can I use instead of it?
Thanks, Jan

It should work; there isn't anything Unix-specific about it. What
happens when you try to use it? Any error messages?

What can I use instead of it?

The CELL driver is another option, but it only allows for 256 colours
(the PNG driver supports 24-bit colour if it was built with GD 2.x).

I don't know about the PNG driver in WinGrass, but instead of it you can
just do a screen dump of the active window. If I rembember correctly,
pressing "alt-print screen" will copy the current window to the clipboard.
Just paste that into a paint program and save.

The PNG driver works fine in Cygwin. (5.0.2)
