[GRASSLIST:1286] combining two raster maps

Hi Grass Users,
I have a raster map of a location. I have also a raster map showing the latitudes and longitudes in degrees.
Both of them are georeferenced. I want to combile both the raster maps so that I can get an image which shows both he location area
and the latitudes and longitudes marked on it. How to do it? Can any body help me.

Thanks.

uttam.

Use r.patch. This requires that the overlay map has nulls where it is
supposed to be transparent; if you are using any other value (e.g.
zero), you will need to change it to null using e.g. r.null.
