[GRASSLIST:1490] confining interpolation results

Hello

I wonder why s.surf.rst gives results that don't fit original data.
my site data range is from -1 to 1 (sin values ), while after interpolation I get data between -2 and 2.
(I would compute inv. sin of result data )

can anyone tell me how can I confine interpolation results between
-1 and 1 ?

IDW interp. doesn't look good.

kind regards

Suggestion:
Check the tension and smooth parameter and optimize it
