built from surplus pcs, at:
We have GRASS installed on every node, and have used it in "poor-man's
parallel" (multiple serial) fashion to spline temperature and rainfall
surfaces for the United States.
We are not running MOSIX though.
We have an article coming out in Scientific American in August on our
parallel GIS work on this machine. But most of the codes we have written
ourselves in C using MPI ...
