I don't know if this is a problem w/ r.stats or with me (likely the latter), but when I do either r.stats or r.report on a fp map I generated, asking for 10 bins, I get the following:
r.stats -a input=gh1.step3 nsteps=10
r.stats: 100%
0-0.099721 265214927.507447
0.099721-0.199442 100882669.359852
0.199442-0.299163 58216243.533102
0.299163-0.398884 42019678.621828
0.398884-0.498605 33211683.308533

0.897489-0.99721 899.509325
* 753529755.895994
This shows that there are only 900 m^2 of the region for the last range of values (0.89-0.99). But this is wrong. If I do the following:
d.rast gh1.step3 vallist=0.9-1
I get the attached map. There is clearly a considerable area in the range 0.89-0.99. And if I do r.stats without bins, I get:

So what is going on here?
Cheers,
