I have 2 adjacent NITF raster images which I would like to combine into one and export as an ECW? I do not see a HOW TO MOSAIC in the docs. Could anyone provide me with a step-by-step for doing this? Thanks.
After I meet my deadline, I really will have to go through the tutorial. Businesses never give you time to get up to speed. They just dump you in head 1st and say do it now, to be done by yesterday. 8-(

Hello Julie,
for combining raster maps have a look at
http://grass.itc.it/grass60/manuals/html60_user/r.patch.html
concerning ecw export, ecw is listed at gdal.org as supported file format
http://www.gdal.org/formats_list.html but not for r.out.gdal yet. Perhaps a
developer can explain how ecw export might be possible.
