[trivial import of vector lines from a Garmin GPS]
The v.in.garmin.sh in GRASS 5.3 is finally updated to automatically
transform waypoints, routes, and/or track data into the current
projection. All features are imported as lines, if you import multiple
features they connect end-to-end. If you want point input instead of
lines, use s.in.garmin.sh.
Automatic projection only works from WGS84 lat/lon GPS input, and can
be easily disabled. You need to install gpstrans from gpstrans.sf.net.
A more advanced version for 5.7 is in the works ..
