I'm using v.surf.rst in GRASS 53. I'm getting the following warning:
taking too long to find points for interpolation--please change the
region to area where your points are.
My region is set correctly. Should I be doing something, perhaps wit the
parameters, to speed up interpolation?

This message is a warning, no error.
However, you may verify with d.vect that you are working
in the desired (sub)region.
