Is it a general problem with tk-8.4 (and nviz ) i GRASS5.7? It is something wrong with the header in the libtk8.4.so in my mandrake10.0 when trying to start nviz under GRASS-5.7, a cvs version from oktober. I guess I have to install tk 8.3 .
