[GRASSLIST:4802] v.digit cygwin

Is there anybody successfully using gras57 v.digit on cygwin?
I'd like to know with which Tcl/Tk version, on which MS-Windows and with
which configure-options it should be possible?

I wonder if I could get it to work when installing another Tcl/Tk version
instead of version 8.3.4 (which I got from the grass website),
or might this even lead to other problems?
