[GRASSLIST:5065] width of geogrid lines in ps.map

Grass folk,

Is is possible to control the width of the lines that the geogrid function draws when using ps.map? I am converting the ps.map generated postscript file to pdf via ps2pdf and then printing. The printed geogrid lines are extremely thin and hardly noticeable.

Thank you in advance,
Brent

I don't think you can do it straight from ps.map, but you could make your own grid of vectors, then display that as lines and control their width. There used to be a v.mkgrid function, I am not sure if it is still around anymore.

Ian,

Thanks for reply, and I apologize for the double post. Newbie.

I did not find the v.mkgrid function. I am deciphering the v.in.ascii command now to try to make grid of vectors.

It is in GRASS 5.0-5.4 but not 5.7.
It could be run in 5.4 and the results exported into 5.7..

Attempts to adapt the script to work with 5.7 are welcome.

V.mkgrid is in the current cvs version of GRASS 5.7

PS: I'd also love to have a line width control in d.vect. V.buffer is a work
around that I'll have to remember.
