I'm trying to use v.in.gshhs to produce coastlines (of course!). I'm importing the vectors as area-line but am getting the following warning:
*** malloc_zone_calloc[7526] : arguments too large: 4241966879,8
Out of Memory
The output file is created yet the file appears empty when I try to display it.
The same ting happens if I import the vestors as lines.
Can anybody shed any light on this?

[BTW: would be nice to see v.in.gshhs updated to 5.7, maybe a new programmer
wants to try?]
