[GRASSLIST:5173] boundary with centroid

hello list,
how is it possible to assign a boundary automatically a centroid. I tried it
with "v.in.ogr .... type=boundary,centroid" and "v.type
...type=boundary,centroid".
that did not works. the possibility with v.digit is inapplicable because I
want it in a skript.
