Question for developer:

I've disabled blas and lapack support in last 57cvs (default is no).
Are they used by some modules?

No; they are just set up in the libraries in case someone wants to
write a module that would need them. There was interest expressed in
the past but I don't think it turned into anything published.

So I think you can safely set to --without.
