Hi!
I'm new in GIS world. I would like to know if it could be possible to
develope a system based on grass to manage hydraulic modelling. I need
to model a water pipe network using GIS. And i would like to develope it
using a GPL software. That is needed to know what valves have to be
closed to have a street without water. 
I don't know if GRASS will be a good choice
