Hello,
I compiled Grass 5.0.1 subsequent to installing gdal-1.1.8. r.in.gdal
will work to import Geotiff images, but when I try to import USGS SDTS
DEMs (ones which I have successfully imported with previous versions
of GRASS), r.in.gdal segfaults with no message other than
"Segmentation Fault". I've attached the output from running strace in
case it can help.
The other odd thing is that I can't zoom in on a vector map with
d.zoom. After zooming, the vectors simply won't show up. However,
d.zoom works as expected with raster maps.
Am I the only one with these problems, or are they known bugs?
Thanks,
Ben
PS.
I'm going to email the webmaster of the site where I got those old
beta11 sources, and I'll cc (or bcc) the list when I do.
