[GRASSLIST:5672] Introduction to geodesy

Hi,

I found a nice introduction to Geodesy on the web, put out by NOAA.

I was going to put this link into the Wiki docs but couldn't find a good
place for it. Anyone more familiar with the wiki layout have any good
ideas where it could go to be most useful to new users?

I suggest a new stub from the main page
entitled "GIS Concepts". Eventually this may
the GIS concepts explained on site with their
relation to GRASS commands and terminology.
