Silly Me!
I had to build the shared fftw libraries with the following configure command:
./configure -libdir=*dir* -enable-shared

Hi GrassList,
I am installing the new binary snapshot of grass6.0 on a RedHad EL server.
I am having trouble finding the library libdfftw.so.2 (libfftw.so.2). I downloaded, configured, made, and make installed fftw-2.1.5 (www.fftw.org) but have not been able to find the library described in the installation directions for Grass. I do get libfftw.a and libfftw.la - I have no idea what these are.
Any advise? I believe I have all of the other libraries linked correctly.
