[GRASSLIST:5961] openosx 5.0.1 update breaks grass?

I've got an odd problem I havent tried to trouble shoot myself yet (I'm not a unix guru). I'm running OS X 10.2.4, Apples x11 beta 3, and openosx.com grass 5.0.0 package. I installed the updater that they had posted under the support part of their site, which effectively updates it to 5.0.1. Well now when I try to boot grass...

Starting GRASS ...
Error in startup script: can't read "env_location": no such variable
    while executing
"set location $env_location"
    (procedure "searchGISRC" line 23)
    invoked from within
"searchGISRC $gisrc_name"
    (file "/usr/local/grass5/tcltkgrass/script/gis_set.tcl" line 1)
ERROR: LOCATION_NAME not set
/usr/local/grass5/etc/Init.sh: GISDBASE: parameter null or not set

I don't get anywhere. I just returns me at the shell prompt. Now I have some clue what might be happening. But that clue wont go anywhere because it is nearly 2 am.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks
    Mike

Delete the ~/.grassrc5 file and try again.
