This bug has been fixed (probably) in CVS HEAD. It needs testing...

I've tried with a cvs snapshot release :
grass50src_cvs_snapshot_exp_2003_04_19.tar.gz.
To export my data to vis5d, I found another solution : a perl module to
write correct hdf file and then import them with success in vis5d.
