I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who has had any success (or failure) in using Apple's xgrid <http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/features/xgrid.html> with grass 6.

hi,
on http://www.gdal.org/formats_list.html you can find data formats,
supported by GDAL library (and GRASS).
I'm affraid, xgrid is not between supported formats, try another one.
