[GRASSLIST:908] ps.map colortables: vote early, vote often

Hi, attached please find 3 versions of the floating-point colortable
from ps.map. Note I've flipped them vertically so the largest value is
at the top, this change is in the 5.1(5.7) CVS.

The first is the original 5.0.x version, the second is the current 5.1
version, and the third is the original version with tick lengths
shortened by 25%.

Anybody have a preference of what they'd like to see in future versions?

I prefer the third one, for no other reasons than that it just seems to 'look
better'

Cheers,
Vincent.

New option for length.

Radim

I like the 3rd one but I think you could shorten the tick lengths by
probably another 50%.

I'll chime in here and second what Matt wrote.

Also I like to add the following wish:
right align numbers, as they are easier to read

e.g. (better)
    1000
     800
       0
   - 200
   -1000

instead of (worse)
   1000
   800
   0
   -200
   -1000

I agree with Mr. Reiter: smaller ticks and right justified.
