Hi list,
Does anyone know sth about radard scaning of elevation of europe wchich took place in last 5 years?
I know only that the data is public accesible and has resolution 60x60m and is available for terrain of europe.
I would like to find description of that data and website where the data is available for downloading.
Does someone know sth about this kind of data/project?
Thanks in advance,
best regards,
Robert

Are you referring to NASA's Shuttle Radar Topography Mission?

I assume that you refer to the SRTM champaign. Just recently,
the SRTM V2 was published. Here some general notes:
You can import these data with r.in.srtm.
